The trio’s musicians have decades of experience as performers and songwriters who can play almost any style. Singer Ellen Laverdure has a wide vocal range and delivers robust, dynamic lyrics with power and clarity. Guitarist Ray Nunez artistically plays the bass lines, chords, melodies, and catchy improvisations with rich textures and solid musical backing. Percussionist Phillip Valentine plays the Cajon drum, adding the glue and backbone with various beats, including swing, bossa nova, blues shuffle, rock, and modern pop rhythms.
